Because this list has grown over the years, I have reorganized it into categories.  The link structure has not changed.  My older work (pre-2000) should be read with a critical eye as the research is not as good. I just have not had time to update the older research.

Current Projects:

Metalworking:

Norse man's belt with Borre-style bronze hardware and decorative mounts (273K PDF file).
"Collars of Maintenance" I made for Countess Rachel Wallace and Count Janos of Cyddlain Downs depicting awards they have won.  I sand-cast these in pewter then pierced them with a saw.
Drinking horn with Jelling Style decorations, made in January 2005 and displayed at Tourney of Ymir in 2005.
10th Century Norse Silver Circlet, made in December 2004 and displayed at various events in 2005.   The form and some of the artwork for this project is more SCA culture than it is Norse, but it is an interesting study in blending the two.
Bronze trefoil brooch, made in fall 2004 and displayed at various events in 2005.
Bronze penannular brooch, made in fall 2004 and displayed at various events in 2005.
Miniature heraldic clothing hooks, made in summer 2004 and displayed at various events in 2005.
Viking Age Lady's Knife Sheath, made in summer 2004 and displayed at various events in 2005.
Necklace hooks, revised version of documents below, displayed at various events in 2004.
Gotlandic Man's Knife Sheath, entered at Atlantia's Tourney of Ymir on 14 Feb 04.
Kingdom seal, which Danr cast from bronze and gifted to the kingdom at Atlantia's 12th Night on 10 Jan 04. The inscription, when reversed (such as by pressing it into hot wax), reads "SIGILLIUM REGIA ATLANTIA."
Bronze 10th Century Danish brooches with necklace hooks, entered at Midrealm A&S Faire in May 03.
Sand-cast bronze Medieval signet ring, entered at Midrealm A&S Faire in May 03.
Brass 10th Century Norse belt buckle, entered at Midrealm A&S Faire in May 03.
Brass 10th Century Norse garter buckle sets, entered at Midrealm A&S Faire in May 03.
Brass decorative armor mount, entered at Midrealm A&S Faire in May 03.
Woven wire trinochopoly arm ring. This style of jewelry, while it superficially resembles a chain, is one long piece of wire. This project was entered in Midrealm A&S Faire in May 02.

Woodworking:

Oseberg Style Tablet Weaving Loom, built in Dec 2005 (150K PDF).
Norse style rune-spear, a gift presented to Countess Rachel Wallace at her second coronation to the throne of Atlantia in fall 2005 (265K PDF).
Norse bucket (work in progress) displayed at various events in 2005.

The Viking Age Lady's Knife Sheath pictured above and the Gotlandic Man's Knife Sheath both involved woodworking for the handles.

Outline for Danr's Wood Carving Workshop, which is a hands-on class that he teaches from time to time.
Whipcord braiding bobbins. This project was entered in Midrealm A&S Faire in May 02.
Norse-style composite wooden comb. This project was entered in Midrealm A&S Faire in May 02.
Viking tent frame. He planned to enter this in an A&S competition in April 01 but there was an accident and the frame was damaged. He has since upgraded it to be stronger, and this documentation reflects that.
Instructions for a simple 2-piece chair (sometimes incorrectly called "Viking Style"). I built and sold several of them over the years, but no longer own any because I learned that these chairs are from colonial America, not the Viking Age. They are, however, common in the SCA and very practical, so if you're not concerned about authenticity, here are the instructions and measurements to build them (Sept 00).
Instructions for building a quick and easy day shade.
Home decorating; photos and ideas for some medieval decorating that Danr and Isabel did in their home in 1999.

Amber, Antler, and other Materials:

The Viking Age Lady's Knife Sheath pictured above, and the Gotlandic Man's Knife Sheath both involved leatherworking for the sheath components.
10th Century Norse Antler Comb, entered at Atlantia's 12th Night on 10 Jan 04.
Carved amber award medallions, entered at Midrealm A&S Faire in May 03.
Norse pickled meat. This project was entered in Midrealm A&S Faire in May 02.
The first scroll Danr ever made. He made it for Isabel's Award of Arms (awarded February 99, scroll made January 2000).
Viking antler comb, entered at the Feast of St Dismas (December 1999) and displayed at Kingdom Twelfth Night (January 2000).
Leather shoes for Isabel, made in summer 1999.

Norse Culture:

Danr's class on Viking Art Styles, taught at Viking Thyng in Sep 03 and Atlantian University in Oct 03 and Feb 04.  Due to the file's large size, I have republished it as a 1.7 MB PDF file.
Isabel also has several Norse Culture articles on her page.

There was an accident with our computer and the documentation for most of the projects done in 2001 were lost. If it's not list here, I don't have the documentation anymore.
